Little Boys and their Toys

In April, Raleigh turned 3. I can hardly believe I have a 3 year old. It is so weird and time has gone by so quickly. For his birthday we had all of his aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents, that are in the area over to celebrate. He thought it was so fun to have everyone here to see him and that he was getting all of the attention. Raleigh had been saying for a while that he wanted to go outside and ride his bike but he didn't really have a bike. So we decided to get him one for his birthday. He is still trying to get use to it and how the pedals work but slowly he is getting the hang of it.


On April 22 was Jett's baby blessing. I had decided to use the same blessing outfit that I used for Raleigh but didn't try it on Jett until late Saturday night. When I tried it on him I discovered it was a little small. I guess that is what happens when Raleigh was blessed at 3 weeks and Jett was 2 months. Oh well I just put some long white socks on him so the legs didn't look too short. You can do that when they are babies and nobody cares. I can't find the blessing pictures at the moment so I will have to post them later.

Las Vegas Baby!

In March we took a quick trip to Las Vegas. We stayed with Steve's brother Taylor and we spent a day and a half touring around the hotels. It has probably been about 10 years since I have been to Vegas so there were many things I hadn't seen. We also got roped into sitting in on a time share seminar, which took up way too much of the day but we did get $100 out of it and a free buffet lunch. Raleigh didn't really like walking around the hotels so we let him play a few games in the arcade area and he absolutely loved it. Here are a few pictures of our trip.

Baby Love

Steve loves when Jett sleeps on his chest. I like it too because it just looks so cute. Steve is such a proud Daddy and loves to brag about how cute our kids are. I think our kids are dang cute too but I am a little biased about it.

Babies are so cute when they are sleeping.


Raleigh loves being a big brother. He tries to be so gentle with Jett and is always wanting to hold him and give him kisses. Whenever he holds Jett (aka little brother) he always says "Mom, this is so cute, take a picture." So here are a few of them.

Our New Addition

I decided to try using a blog to keep people updated on our life since I am really bad at emailing these days. I am kind of using it as a brief journal too so let me go back and start at the beginning of this year. I hope you all enjoy! After 9 long months of being pregnant and uncomfortable, Jett Jamison Gardner was born on February 23, 2007. He weighed 6lbs. 13oz and was 18 1/2 inches long. After a rough start of 5 days in the hospital he was finally able to come home where his family was anxiously awaiting his arrival. Jett has brough much joy into our lives and we are so glad he is apart of our family.
