Baby Names

We are 6 weeks away from baby BOY #3 arriving and we are having trouble coming up with a name we can agree on. So I thought I would open it up to the blogging world for suggestions. Please list any ideas you have because we really don't want to be one of those families that brings their baby home without a name and we don't just want to choose something spur of the moment. So really any names you would like to suggest would be very appreciated.

Ugh, baby names are so hard! And with such original names for your first two, you'd hate to do something boring for your third. We have two boy names we really like: Soren and Oliver. Soren is a family name and the name of a psychologist Jeff studied in school. Oliver is because I always loved Olivia, but when it became so trendy I couldn't bring myself to use it. So we adjusted and came up with Oliver for a boy.

What is Steve's favorite sport. Just look at the names on his favorite team. That's what chris did. Landon came from the soccer player, Landon Donavon and Everton came from a soccer team in Europe. I didn't think people would catch onto Everton, but one day we were at a REAL game and I was sitting by several 10 year olds. They asked Everton's name and I told them--- they said, "oh, like Everton FC (soccer Team)". Guess you just have to be a BIG fan to catch on.

I don't really have any great suggestions because my husband and I have the exact same problem! It took us three days to name our first and probably two to name our second. It's hard!! Good luck!!!

Why don't you just name him Zack and/or Cody and make Raleigh happy.

I thought of another one. My brother's nephew is named Merrick. It kind of reminds me of your boys' names.

On a different note, can you email Kimberli Hughes my email address so I can get access to her blog? She left me a comment saying I could get my email to her through you. Thanks! (thependletons@gmail.com)

Hey Deb!! ARen't baby names hard, and for some reason it seems harder when it's a boy!! We just found out we are having a boy too!! Our top 3 names are Hudson, Nixon, and Cardon!! And of course I like Gavin! (Our oldest) Any name is so cute though as long as it's not something like Manfred. I like traditional names too like Tyler, Travis, Justin. My friends little boy is named Beckham, because his dads a soccer fanatic. Cute! I also have a friend who has 3 boys. She has a Raleigh too and Carson and Lincoln. Hope you guys can decide! Can't wait to hear what you pick!

I am laughing because we are one of those families that left the hospital without a name! After Tucker was born, we looked at him and he was no way going to be named the original one that we had picked out. We were stumped! And I was not going to rush picking a name either. The name eventually comes. Good luck!
