Swimming at the Reunion
I didn’t go swimming but Raleigh did with Grandpa Jolley, uncle Jeff and cousins Andrew and Ryann. He loves to go swimming as long as he doesn’t have to get water in his face. There was a big slide and I told my Dad to take Raleigh down it. I forgot however to tell him to lift Raleigh up at the end so his head wouldn’t go in the water. So they get to the top of the slide and I can hear them coming down as Raleigh is cheering and having a great time. They come around the corner at the bottom and Raleigh has a huge smile on his face, that is until they land in the water and then he never wanted to go on the slide again. The reunion was a lot of fun.
Gordon Family Reunion
Every year my dad’s family has an extended family reunion. This year they decided to have it at a park near the PG pool. It was so fun. Steve wasn't able to come because of work but we all missed him. They had all kinds of things set up for the kids. They had a fish pond, a train they had made and pulled by little tractors and a big net in which to throw a football at and try to hit the target. Me being the competitor that I am had a competition with my sisters to see who would do better with the target throw and of course I kicked their butts. It was awesome. Then towards the end of the day we had the PG pool reserved and we went swimming.
Funny Raleigh moments
One Sunday before church Raleigh found one of the extensions to the vacuum and decided it was his telescope. So here he is checking out the neighbors house or something.
I just thought this picture was so funny. Raleigh found this old motorcycle helmet in my parents shed and decided he needed to put it on so he could be safe while riding the scooter. Notice that the part around his face is the part that is suppose to be around your neck.
Fun with the Cousins
We went to the Riverton City parade and it was a lot of fun. They give out SO MUCH CANDY!! Practically everything in the parade threw out candy as it went by. It was awesome and the kids had so much fun. At one point in the parade one of the cars in it was playing music and wanted everyone to dance. So here are a couple of pictures of Raleigh dancing. I just think they are so cute and funny. I love when he dances, it always makes me smile.
Cousins Megan and Emily wanted to put on a dance recital for us and Raleigh wanted to be a part of it too. He can never let someone else steal the show from him. So here he is trying to be like the girls.

Pioneer Park
We went to Pioneer Park in SLC and had a picnic with some of my siblings and their kids. It was SO HOT. It was really fun though for the kids to see and do some of the fun things the pioneers did. Raleigh really liked going to see all the animals and getting to ride on a train. Like I said before it was so hot so we decided to take off our shoes and walk through the little stream to cool off. Don't ask me what Raleigh is doing in the picture with all the kids because I really don't know.

Swimming
This is Jett’s first time swimming. He was only in the pool for a couple of minutes because he got tired and wanted to go to sleep but we all had a good time swimming in Grandma and Grandpa Gardner’s pool. Raleigh has this phobia of getting his face wet and so he decided he needed to wear a life jacket and lay on top of Jett’s baby tube.

Lagoon
We went to Lagoon the end of June and I wasn’t sure what Raleigh would think. When we first entered the park he was scared because of all the tall rides and he thought he was going to have to go on them. So we started him off on the carousel and he absolutely loved it. Next we took him to a little airplane ride and some helicopters. Once he got on the helicopters he didn’t want to go on anything else. He just wanted to go on it over and over again.

Family Pictures
Well it has been a while since I updated my blog and there is a lot that has happened. In June all of my family was in town and we did a lot of fun things together. I absolutely love when my family is here and I try to drive to my parents house and see them every day. Some times that drives Steve crazy because I don’t get as much done around the house as I probably should but what can I say, I love my family and they are not here that often. One of the things we did while they were here is have a new family picture taken. It had been 6 ½ years since the last one was taken and that one was such a disaster we didn’t look forward to this one but in the end I think it went well. My sister Marianne (aka Muffy) is majoring in photography so she took the pictures and I think she did a great job. Thanks Muffy! Here are a few of the pictures she took.
The first one is my favorite of the entire group because I think it shows more of our true personalities but the others are ok too.

The Family funny picture. One of my favorite parts is that Steve has Jett hanging upside down
